Children's Hospital Charity: Please Consider Giving

My birthday is coming up, its the 23rd of this month. I am raising money to buy things for children at the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids Michigan. But I cannot do it without your help, if you are able to give that would be so much help. This means a lot to me, so if you are able to give anything please do. Thank you!

These children in the hospital are going through such a rough time and I want to cheer them up and also get things that the hospital needs for them. Even if all you can give is a few dollars it will still make a difference.  If 55 people give $18 each I will reach my goal. Thank you!

A Lot Has Changed

I know its been almost a year since I posted on here last, but during that time a lot has changed.
First of all I am no longer a messianic believer, and I have many reasons, I have also done a lot of studying.
Last year in April a friend of my moms contacted her on Facebook and said that they no longer believed in the nt (New Testament), they said that they had found a lot of errors and things that just didn't make sense and didn't add up with the Torah and the rest of Tanak. My mom asked for their study notes, we were going to prove them wrong, but the more we studied the more we realized that we were the ones who were wrong. We did a lot of studying, we kept looking for verses that would prove the nt was right, but we couldn't find anything. With much prayer and studying we left the nt. We always thought that we had peace, but we didn't' know what peace really was until we left christianity and the messianic movement behind us. Ask any person from any religion and they always tell you that they have peace. My family and I are now heading towards Judaism.
Some people upon hearing this might be angry, mad, or curious.

I know that a lot of my posts are not correct and have a bunch of lies, but I wouldn't trade my journey for another one. I'm sorry about sharing things on my blog that aren't true.
I will be going through my posts and removing most or all of them sometime next week including this one and starting over.

This is what I am hoping for all of you, even if you don't think you would ever leave the nt, please always keep an open mind, always. I would hope that you would study this out and see what you find, don't be afraid to dig deep, because the only way you are going to find truth is by digging for truth, and sometimes that means digging deep.

If you are interested I have a blog for my journey
https://journeyfortruthdotblog.wordpress.com

Here are a few things from Tanak that prove the nt wrong.
Ezekiel 18 says that each and every person is responsible for his or her own sin. We don't need someone to come and die for us, because we are responsible.
God also says that He won't do anything new without informing the prophets, well, in the Tanak He never said anything in there about jc (Jesus/Yeshua) to the prophets.
Also God never changes, nor will He change His plans.
There is also a place in the Tanak that says that God "is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should change is mind".
Another thing is that God hates human sacrifice, a human sacrifice is an abomination.
There are many, many, many more. I hope that you will study it out for yourselves.

Shalom,
Esther

A Berry Good Day And A Week Old Party.

We all went strawberry picking (except for mom, she had a horrid headache so she got to stay home and have some peace and quiet) on the fourth of July. The strawberries are red so that had to count for something, but I don't think you can find strawberries with white and blue because then we would have had moldy berries. I wanted to make this post the day we went picking when we got home, however that could not happen because we had a lot of stemming to do. Berry picking is such fun, besides that fresh produce is so much better for you than what you buy in the store. My little sisters had fun helping pick. My dad took most of the pictures, walking around looking at things and eating strawberries while we picked. Well he did help pick some. Most of us girls enjoyed eating strawberries while picking too.

Dad and Charisa chose to walk to the strawberry field, the rest of us rode in the wagon. Dad had the                               camera so while following behind he tried to get some nice pictures.

We got to the strawberry field first, he must have snapped this picture when entering the field.

Getting to work.

Carrie asking Joanna "Is this ripe?"

MaryKaytelyn is hard at work

Mmmmm, it looks good.

Such a good little worker. All of my sisters were good workers.  I also think that I did pretty good if I may say so myself.

Joanna is on one side of the row trying not to miss any strawberries.

Abigail is on the other side trying not to miss any strawberries.

MaryKaytelyn did really well helping even though she does not like strawberries.

Charisa also hard at work.

Jennella looking for more strawberries to add to her flat.

Me also picking strawberries.

A clump of unpicked strawberries.

My glasses kept falling off.

MaryKaytelyn, where's the smile?

There's the smile.

Abigail

Sorry I don't have any pictures of dad picking. He says going strawberry picking was fun; his reason, he didn't have to pick any. Though he did help just a little. He ate more than he picked and when he wasn't eating berries he was taking pictures.

The flat is almost full.

A strawberry blossom.

Jennella picked this one; it's the biggest that was picked by any of us. I did see another that was larger; however, it was moldy and rotten so we left it.

Another almost full flat.

Leaving the strawberry field.

The pond that was next to the strawberry field.

We all walked back from the field instead of taking the wagon.

On our way back from the field we saw milkweed flowers.

We saw a robin.

Not sure what kind of bird this is.

The girls wanted to see the farm animals so we did.

The chickens were running free.

Ducks in a small pond.

More ducks.

Flowers.

Dad insisted that we get our pictures taken in front of this big ruler thingy.

Carrie
About 4 feet.
Marykaytelyn
A few more inches than 4 feet.

Jennella
Almost 5 feet.

Me.
Almost 5 feet, but not quite.

Joanna
Almost 5 feet.

Abigail
A little over 5 feet.

Since dad insisted that we all had our pictures taken here, we insisted that he also let us get his.

Dad.
A little over 5 feet.

Finishing with the animals.
These goats are trying to stay cool.

Calves

Aww. Such cute little baby goats.

More chickens

One of the roosters. We saw five different ones. They crowed a lot well we were there; it sounded like they were competing with one another.

Carrie was enjoying petting one of the little goats. Not sure who enjoyed it more, the goat or Carrie.

Jennella and the little goat.

Aww. There was also a baby goat with the big goats.

More flowers; one of the calves was sticking his head out of the pen and eating the blossoms.

The other little goat is heading up the plank to join the big goats.

The calves again.

Another flower

This was the sign that was there for the place that we went picking.

More flowers

I think I like this.

This is me with a cat that was on that farm. Dad was going to take a picture but just as he was about to snap the picture he said, "Cubby is really going to love you Esther." That is why my eyes are so big, he took the picture just when my eyes got wide. What did he mean and why did my eyes get big? Cubby is my cat and he doesn't like it if I pet other animals, as it is he does not like it when I pet the kitten or mom's dog.
I hadn't thought about it until dad said something.

On our way home dad spotted a bald eagle, so we pulled over and he got out with the camera to take a picture. However, the eagle headed off in the wrong direction so dad was unable to get a picture.

After we got home someone took pictures of the full flats.
They are full of something so good.
When any of us walked past the table and counter we would grab strawberries and eat them.
Each flat is about 2 ice cream buckets.
We came home with about 8 flats full.

Even though mom didn't come with us she helped stem strawberries.

Cubby still loves me. He does not know that I held another cat. I was so thankful that he did not come greet me at the door. He didn't know that I was home as he was sleeping; this gave me time to change so that he wouldn't smell the other cat on me.  I went to find him; he was asleep on top of the bookcase. I said his name and he meowed his special meow and came to see me, then sat on my lap. My mom likes one of these pictures better and I like the other so I'll just put both. At least he still loves me. He's my boy.

Isn't Cubby a handsome fellow?

Most of us girls helped with the stemming of the berries. I only helped for a little while because I was going to help dad make supper.
So I got some extra time with daddy.

A week ago we had supper over at the neighbors, as did many other people. Then after dark we all went along with the neighbors to their friend's farm to watch fireworks (bottle rockets and roman candles).

My little sisters also used sparklers however the pictures that I took of them doing so did not turn out.

Shalom,
Esther
